Description

Effortlessly melt away the day, impurities and bad vibes while infusing your skin with radiance and positivity. This multi-action facial cleanser nourishes, tones, protects and locks in moisture while dissolving stubborn makeup, dirt, dead skin and oil to give the skin a fresh and energised look. Starting as a luxurious solid balm to visibly smooth and soften the skin before transforming into a silky oil to lift excess sebum and eliminate grime, and then a restorative milk to boost hydration. Not only does this dreamy salve decongest the T-zone and clogged pores, it also feeds the skin essential nutrients to help enhance its natural barrier and elasticity. Skin is left feeling super-moisturised, clean, clear and refined. The Safou Sorbet Cleansing Balm ritual becomes a moment of self-care, giving your skin exactly what it needs and refreshed with notes of white mint, petitgrain, jasmine, sandalwood and safou.

Routine

Scoop and warm a berry-sized amount between clean fingertips. Smooth onto dry skin over the face and neck. Gently massage in circular motions, insisting on areas where excess oil, dirt and makeup accumulate. Add some warm water to emulsify the balm until a milky film forms then rinse. Use our Wafer Cleansing Cloth to gently remove excess product and grime. Pat dry and follow with your moisturiser.

In the morning, cleansing removes oils and sweat that build up as you sleep, creating a clean canvas that allows your skin to fully absorb the benefits of your skincare routine. At night, it’s all about clearing away the impurities, makeup, and environmental pollutants that accumulate throughout the day. Skipping this step leaves your skin vulnerable to clogged pores, dehydration and dullness.

Pro tip: Apply on dry skin as a hydrating mask before stepping into the shower. Allow the steam to melt the balm into your skin and massage in circular motions. After stepping out of the shower remove excess product and impurities with our Wafer Cleansing Cloth.

Safou Oil

A unique vegetable oil that ethically slows down the ageing process of the skin, naturally improving texture and elasticity. Rich in fatty acids, vitamin C and E, safou oil is fast acting, keeping the skin hydrated, protected and soothed.
Salicylic Acid

A beta hydroxy acid (BHA) derived from willow bark, wintergreen leaves, or sweet birch. Known for its ability to penetrate pores, salicylic acid helps exfoliate dead skin cells and reduce excess oil. It also has anti-inflammatory properties that can calm redness and reduce the appearance of blemishes.
Shea Butter

A rich nut butter containing natural antioxidants and fatty acids. These fatty acids are rapidly absorbed by the skin to restore lipids and correct signs of ageing. Jojoba Oil

How to Use

Step 1 Massage gently in circular motions into dry skin, paying extra attention to where dirt, oil and stubborn makeup build up

Step 2 Add warm water to emulsify and continue massaging

Step 3 Rinse the Wafer Cleansing Cloth in warm water and apply gently to the skin to remove impurities and excess balm

Step 4 Pat dry and follow up with the Light It Up Face Cream. Wash and rinse your cloth and hang to dry

The best I have been able to try

When I’ve been told Koba will be launching a cleansing balm I was so looking forward to it. I’m a very big fan of cleansing balm in general but this one is my favourite. I use it as well as makeup remover - it is very efficient even on waterproof mascara. The texture is very soft, not to oily therefore quite easy to remove and leave my skin, clean soft and hydrated. The smell is subtile. As usual for this brand the packaging is high quality (also comes with a cleansing cloth). I recommend

A true gem!

From the moment you scoop it out of the jar, the balm's silky, velvety texture is a treat for your senses. It glides effortlessly onto the skin, transforming into a gentle oil-like consistency as it warms up, making it incredibly effective at dissolving makeup, sunscreen, and impurities. I love the subtle and fresh scent! After a night out, I enjoy taking a couple of minutes to thoroughly massage it into my skin. It provides a soothing, spa-like quality to my routine. To remove it, I use cotton pads soaked in lukewarm water.

It leaves my face feeling clean, soft, and hydrated without any greasy residue. I have sensitive skin and love it!
